CREATIFI: 150,000 EUROS FROM EUROPE UP FOR GRABS FOR CREATIVE ICT DEVELOPERS
Trentino Sviluppo named sole project manager for Italy. A “Match Making Event” is scheduled for Monday, October 20th.
A funding of 150,000 euros for the ICT developers and small-medium enterprises that can devise a creative software solution based on future internet technologies. This is the essence of CreatiFI (www.creatifi.eu), a project promoted by the European Commission that has the goal of spreading the use of innovative technologies for the creative industry. CreatiFI will provide funding to ca 60 business projects developed all over Europe.
Four cities have been appointed to coordinate the project: Barcelona, Helsinki, Brussels, and Trento. For this reason, the project manager for Italy and South East Europe is Trentino Sviluppo, the development agency of the Autonomous Province of Trento, which has already managed important European projects such as CULTWAyS and Enterprise Europe Network.
On Monday, October 20th, Trentino Sviluppo will host an «Inspirational Match Making Event», a meeting that aims at presenting the opportunities and requirements for the application to the open call. More importantly, this event will represent a wonderful opportunity to involve and bring together creative professionals, software developers, and ICT companies, with the objective of fostering the dialogue, exchange of ideas, and cross-fertilization among the projects that will apply to the CreatiFI open call.
The registration for the meeting is open until October 14th on the dedicated section of the web-site of trentinosviluppo.it. The attendance to the event is free.
